I personally find the professional description of myself kind of dry, but that's just the way things work I guess.
So, I thought I'd take a moment and lay out a thing or two about myself that's a little less professional for those
who actually find it all interesting enough to read. If you are only interested in what I can do in front of a computer,
I suggest you click another link, as I won't be talking much about that here.
Although I was born in Chicago, I spent most of my time growing up on the West side of Michigan in a very small and boring town
named Pentwater, MI. When I got into high school, I started spending my summers in Ann Arbor at the University of Michigan
attending a tech-camp called Camp CAEN until I graduated in 1999 -- in fact it
was at Camp CAEN that I started working with PHP. After graduating High School, I started attending Kettering University
in Flint, Michigan (formerly known as "General Motors Institute" -- GMI) working toward a BS in Computer Science. It was during either my
late Freshmen or early Sophmore year at Kettering that had my first PHP-related work published on zend.com.
I also joined a fraternity -- the Epsilon Iota B chapter of Delta Tau Delta.
Joining the Delts was the single best decision I ever made -- without that house I wouldn't be where I am today.
Life has changed a lot since those simple days living in Pentwater, I now have a beautiful daughter Diana Katheryn Coggeshall, I work
for Zend Technologies full time now, and I've been blessed enough to see a significant amount of the world through my work.
